James devises, develops and delivers human resources projects and branding and corporate social responsibility projects for the likes of Chelsea Building Society, Intel, QinetiQ, Institute of Physics Publishing, Arup, Bart Spices and Orange.
In addition James has advised countless arts organisation in development and fundraising and has developed a successful three hour facilitation session that allows arts organisations to look at all areas of fundraising prior to setting up their own development function or as a refresher for existing development teams.
Other projects include the ‘art in the work place’ programme for TLT Solicitors, Beachcroft LLP and Coutts and Co. He has advised countless arts organisation in development and fundraising and has developed a successful three-hour facilitation session that allows arts organisations to look at all areas of fundraising.
James was educated in Bath and began working life as a trainee accountant before finding his calling in Theatre Management. He joined Arts & Business in 2001 having been General Manger at the Theatre Royal Winchester and previous to that Assistant General Manager at The Bristol Old Vic and is very proud to be on the board of Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory.
